Make a Homemade Hand Scrub
Preparation -
-Mix half cup of sugar, 3 table spoons of olive oil, and 3 table spoons of water in a container until fully blended (no lumps, etc).
-Add a few drops of your favorite scent to the sugar/oil/water mix and stir (optional).
-Apply mixture to your hands and rub in a circular motion until you feel that you have achieved your ideal skin softness. Do not rub more if your hands start to hurt or burn (No worries, this is probably not an allergic reaction to any of the materials, but instead from the rubbing of the grains of sugar).
-Wash your hands with water until you can no longer feel the grains of sugar.
-Towel dry and apply lotion, if you wish.
Do not rub any further if skin starts to burn.
Do not use hot water, else the sugar will dissolve and become sticky and will lose it "scrubbing ability".
Probably you don’t want to use this on your face and/or any other body parts, other than your hands and feet. :)

Hand Care Tips
4. For dry hands, after washing your hands with soap, wet them again. Pour salt on your hands and then scrub them under water. This will help in removing the dead cells. Dry hands and apply moisturizer on them.
6. Wear rubber gloves while working at home and in the garden.
7. Protect and prevent your hands from aging.
8. Protect your hands from the ravages of changing weather.
9. The best way to take care of your hands is to protect them on a daily basis.

Milk and tomato cleanser
Tomatoes are excellent for your skin. They're rich in vitamins and antioxidants. The mild acid in tomatoes gives them the ability to exfoliate and peel dead cells away from the skin.
Ingredients -
1 large tomato (extremely ripe )
Half glass fresh un-boiled milk
A bottle of clean water.
Preparation -
Put the tomato in a blender and mash well
Strain well with a muslin cloth
Dispose off the pulp
Collect the tomato juice in a glass
Add to it an equal quantity of milk
Cover the glass or bottle and store in refrigerator.
How to apply -
Apply on face and neck once or twice a day with clean cotton swabs.
Leave on for fifteen minutes.
Rinse off with clean water
Gently pat your face dry.
Tips: It is very effective on oily skin, leaving it fresh and glowing.
Warning ! Those with sensitive skins are not advised to use this remedy.
This lotion shouldn't be preserved for more than a day or two. Make fresh cleansing lotion every couple of days.

How to take care of your skin
Our skin is continuously regenerating itself. It consists of a protective layer of skin cells that continually shed and help in making new cells. Below this epidermis, are the dermis and hypodermis. These two layers produce the oil and collagen, that give your skin support, elasticity, and shine. So taking care of your skin is very important for you. Before spending your money on skin products, it is important to know what kind of skin you have.
Dry Skin ~ If your skin gets strongly dehydrated, and lacks oil, it is considered dry. Dry skin has very less elasticity and is often extremely sensitive to the sun, wind and cold temperatures. To avoid this dryness, you should wash your face once a day with a rich, creamy cleanser and warm water. Rinse with warm water and pat your skin dry. Use toner to help with that tight and flaky feeling of dehydration.
Oily Skin:If your skin is oily, it will shine quite often. The pores are generally clearly visible on oily skin. This kind of skin needs a lot of care. It is more prone to pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads than other skin types. It tends to attract more dirt than dry skin, so wash your face twice a day with a gentle non-foaming cleanser and warm water. Rinse with warm water. Use an alcohol-free, hydrating toner to help remove additional residue. Oil blotting sheets through out the day can help control shine.
Normal Skin: Normal skin is often considered to be Combination skin, but it is not. If your skin is marked by oily skin in the T zone and dry, taut skin on the cheeks, and changes with seasons (dryer in winter, oilier in summer) it is considered normal. Wash your face with cleansers that are designed for your normal/normal-to skin type. Wipe an alcohol free, hydrating toner all over the face. Apply moisturizer more frequently to dry skin.
Sensitive Skin: Sensitive skin can be normal, oily or dry. If your skin has allergic reactions to beauty products and is usually sensitive to the sun, wind, and cold weather, it is sensitive. Sensitivity can show up in rashiness, redness, inflammation, acne, and dilated capillaries. Look for cleansers, toners, makeup, and moisturizers that are fragrance-free and hypoallergenic. Cleanse, tone and moisturize with gentle products everyday.Combination Skin: Combination skin is truly two extreme skin types on one face. These situations occur when there is acne and a lot of oil in one area when the rest of the skin is generally not producing oil and dry.
